Cayo Espanto Reviews
A few years in the past, I visited and adored it. The coral reefs have been perfect for snorkeling and scuba diving. The island and its homes were high-quality; we spent per week in their rainforest villa, which changed into a fascinating and unique. Belize, as a whole, is a beautiful destination: clean to reach and smooth to discover (we rented an automobile for the land journey). People have been kind, all speaking English, making my arrival smoother.
We arrived on the island's helicopter pad and were welcomed like royalty by the personnel. They provided us with clean towels for a fast freshening up, surpassed us chilled rum juice, and informed us that they might supply our baggage to the villa. We tour often, seeking the finest locations every year. We've visited several "world's nice" lodges, and this area ranks a number of the top. The seclusion, villas, delicacies, and service were all five big names. We're already planning our trip back to Cayo Espanto in the near future.
The experience right here is genuinely superb; from boarding the boat to Cayo Espanto to departing by helicopter (quite recommended), everything turned out flawless. The service is top-notch — you have a butler and an assistant ensuring your pride all through your life. The food changed into the first-rate; the chef ensured you had been extremely joyful with each meal.
Cayo Espanto is beautiful with a lovely small pool (which we heated one day for a further charge, a lovely touch) and beautiful decks for rest. Kayaking each day was an incredible interest and an extraordinary way to discover the island. We additionally indulged in two indoor massages, which were pretty advocated. We're eagerly looking forward to our return!
Regarding our stay at Cayo Espanto, we cannot reward it sufficiently. Everything surpassed our expectations! Our butler turned pleasant and accommodating, making sure we had the entirety we wished while permitting us to loosen up and enjoy Casa Olita's privateness and calmness.
The whole staff was warm and welcoming. Rosita and Erika were accommodating in arranging our tours earlier than our ride and finalizing details upon our arrival. Chefs Patrick and Richard ensured each meal was superb. Our snorkeling experience with Jeronimo and Max has become exhilarating. Jeronimo's knowledge of coral reefs and fish became brilliant, and his enthusiasm for the stunning surroundings was admirable. It's an ought-to-do trip. Fishing, snorkeling for conch, spearfishing, and then grilling the seize with your guide at the beach made for a fun-filled day.
I'll in no way forget Cayo Espanto. Every detail of our anniversary ride turned out perfect. During dinner, they performed our wedding video on a vast inflatable display screen. Swimming with sharks and manatees, fishing, feeding tarpons, and catching/ingesting our very own lobster – it felt like a royal banquet! The food… Every meal turned out remarkable. The beds… Slept like toddlers. Attention to detail. While the nearby costs had been steep, on occasion making you wonder if it's really worth it, every penny turned into well worth it!
